I'd wandered off my typical path,
searching for berries along the way.
The endeavor proved painful and the fruit most bitter,
yet it taught me much.
I had looked in the mirror, in my eyes, I loved what I saw
yet slowly he became disillusioned.

To search for imperfections,
in an imperfect world.
