I saw you in my mirror
and thought you were just some clown
I laughed and laughed when I realized
it was you that brought the battleship down
so now here I am
sitting in my kitchen completly nude
wondering how I got here
with all this egg on my face
That's what I get for thinking
that I was part of God's exclusive grace
I amble down narrow streets
wondering where that damn ball went
so I maintain the appearance
remaining perfectly calm
when I finally come to realize,
that it was stolen from me
and it was you,
when I turned to look around.
